  International re-forestation efforts
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 23-10-2022, 11:00 AM - Forum: Environment - No Replies

I think we should address these as a top priority.
Rather than NZ getting planted in invasive pines, we would be better off supporting these projects that are going to make far more of an impact if successful.
The whole world owes it to make this happen. Interestingly enough the sahara was once covered in forest, but its believed an asteroid impact totally destroyed it and the climate there has never recovered.

Tree planting can make a much faster impact on climate than actually stopping carbon emissions, which is not going to be an overnight thing either.

Great green wall in Africa has had challenges with some countries facing conflicts, but the hope is that it can unite africa by sharing a common goal.

And there are projects happening in the Amazon too which is very positive news.
These are just some of them.

Blood clots in corpses make them difficult to embalm

This is disturbing and should be investigated further.
Looks like many funeral directors are afraid to speak up, but its being reported globally.

Sean Plunket really gave one by the name Brenton Faithfull a hard time which was unwarranted, but was good to listen to Seans interview with Matt King.

Why was Avi Yemini really banned from NZ?

So much for free speech, he was merely just an independent news reporter, but Jacinda sees him as a threat and dont want him covering things in a negative light.
It doesnt matter if you agree with his views or not, this is purely political.

  Nude Gardening Day.

So did you ?

I was transplanting some tomatoes and onions...looked around, and thought, ''Why not ?''  So I stripped off, planted my veges, watered them, and then sat down and had a cold beer in the sun. No spectators fortunately. A yearly event apparently, but I might do it more often now.

Exclamation High excess deaths in Australia
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 22-10-2022, 12:53 PM - Forum: Covid-19 - Replies (16)

Dr campbell is covering this right now.
Im also hearing that a few funeral directors have reported a much higher level of deaths lately and they are not covid related. Also they say that there is a unique type of blood clotting they are finding while embalming the bodies, yuk!

While the search continues for the cure for death, I wonder if any of us really would want to live for ever. So, would you?

Charles Walker is bang on:

ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm resigning...IÔÇÖve had enough of talentless people. IÔÇÖm livid, thereÔÇÖs no coming back from this and itÔÇÖs a complete disgrace. It is a pitiful reflection on the Conservative Party at every level. To all the people who voted in Liz Truss I hope you think it was worth itÔÇØ┬á

Harsh but fair. I hope he enjoys his retirement
