And attempting to remove food from hungry kids & when that failed, removing what was in place & instead serving up what mostlly amounted to slop.

They deserve to be a one term govt.

if they dont like the food bring their own lunch

NO it damn well is NOT "easy" & that is the problem. IF it was easy, we wouldn't have hungry kids because parents wouldn't need to choose between rent & food. 
But as always, the right prefer to blame victims.

See? These are kids. If they were adults, with power, I would agree. But the fact is kids have none. If parents don't feed them, family doesn't feed them, neighbours don't feed them then what do they do?

They steal.

Because hunger is real, and must be satisfied.

And guess what? Punishing them, or their families, or their neighbours  or their schools still doesn't feed them. So they steal.

They'll get fed in jail.

or they just eat the free lunch that someone elseÔÇÖs paid for

Cheap at the price.
When kids are going hungry you blardy well feed them.

Regardless of what their situation might be, whether that be neglectful parents or parents struggling to keep the roof over their heads; you feed the kids.


Though clearly some would prefer a return to Victorian times. Or feudal...

The thing which really grates is that most people are well aware of that, they know where allowing kids to go hungry leads.
They do not care.
Possibly because, come the next election when thanks to their actions, crime has risen, they can claim they'll 'get tough on crime' & that'll fix everything.


They cannot possibly be unaware that that is total BS & does not work but it allows them to look as if they're taking care of the situation. 
They do not care.
