I've no idea why some on the right politically often assume that if you're even slightly left, then you 'must want to socialise everything, & have no profit' when they have the very clear example of how very successful a mixture of both socialism & capitalism can be in some of the Nordic countries, whose populations often feature at the top of those 'happiest people' surveys.

Those who do so appear to think anything even slightly left equates to the old USSR.

And some of the highest taxes as well.  Not to mention the oil and gas they have as well - something this government pissed away on a "captains call".
