The Anti Vax Demonstrators were lucky...

They behaved.
Hate to have to take out the tear gas, water cannon and rubber bullets to quell the filthy, unclean, virus spreading ASPD's from going on the rampage.
Now this blak sack of socially spastic scumbags want to block up the freeways and cause mayhem in some vainglorious act of social unrest to forcibly assert their will on us. The very same thing they are protesting against.
Collectively dumber than a shovel.

I hope they are met with the strongest possible resistance and prosecuted to the full letter of the law.

Do you have any NZ iconic photos...
Posted by: crafters_corner - 09-11-2021, 06:27 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (8)

TMMB are looking for photos that you may have taken on your NZ travels. Particularly anything iconic, and that can be used on this board (with your permission) , for the new galleries. Preferably nothing that has come off the internet, so as to not breach any copyright/reproduction (and whatever else) rules.

If you would love to share some of your photos, that would be awesome. How great would it feel, to really be a part of this messageboard, to see your photos being shared.Smile

kiwi1 or nzoomed might be able to give more light onto what they want, but you can check out the "New TMMB homepage" thread in General Discussion, to ask any questions you might have.

There is a thread in "Tips and tricks" for "Adding images and other attachments to posts" which will show you how to do it.

Thanks. Smile

  New TMMB homepage
Posted by: king1 - 09-11-2021, 03:43 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (7)

SO i've been working on a new website for the mb to replace https://tmmb.co.nz/, which is nice but needs more info, and it proved difficult to modify...

New Website preview
No SSL at the moment

VERY unfinished - this is basically a get the ball rolling moment effort

Question:
Do we need a subtle background color on it or is everyone ok with white?  i find it a bit stark but that's just me -  we can put a background into the bordered area shown or the whole screen.  If anyone is good with color schemes and has any ideas let me know

Nothing is set in stone, everything is up for debate/suggestions/ alternatives, although rearranging the actual block layout is problematic.

The main image is the monument at the center of New Zealand - supposed to representative of the messageboard as middle of the political spectrum, everyone welcome kind of thing...

  • Obviously new name needed...

  • I have nothing in mind for the philosophy┬áelement as yet

  • Latest post/threads need to be done

  • A nice fancybox Gallery is being┬áimplemented on most┬áimages┬á

  • Descriptions/attributions etc still needed

  • favicon and page┬átitles
anyway suggestions, ideas, corrections most welcome- will get to them as time allows

  Disney for $1.99

For the first month. Thank you flybuys. Three hundred of those converted to NW dollars - a nice wee bonus for Christmas. And for one month - cos if it is awful I will cancel before renewal date - I will have a full hand of the leading streaming sites. That ought to offset the cold turkey on the TM boards...

What would your recommendations be for a smartphone, that I can use to text, and for scanning the QR code ??

I don't want or need one for computer use, as I'm happy with my laptop.

Something basic for this old girl. Big Grin

Thanks.
