Long time silent.

What has caused the exodus of posters from TMMB?
It seemed to happen soon after the site had to revert to a previous backup and a lot of messages were lost.   Surely the members are not as fickle as that.

See that Judith thinks that we should be able to withdraw $20k of our KiwiSaver money to start a business, because it's "your money".

Surely under that logic, I should be able to withdraw it all?

Also given the failure rate of businesses, isn't that just encouraging us to more than likely lose $20k?

Maybe she was joking? Couldn't really tell, her drawn on eyebrows always seem permanently raised...

A study to evaluate the potential of using Lake Onslow in a pumped hydro storage set-up seems well advanced. Great idea if the viability is there. The technology is already proven in the UK at least. This video explains the mechanics of how such a system works:
