Michael Baker is scaremongering!
Professor Michael Baker is warning that every New Zealander will either get Omicron or know someone who gets it.
The Otago University epidemiologist told Newshub Kiwis have been "very removed from this threat" and he expected to see "tens of thousands of cases" over the next three or four months.
"We will see tens of thousands of cases and unfortunately several hundred deaths in the next three or four months.
I have no faith in these so called experts, they haven't been right once.

Wonder what things are going to change? Seems its mostly concerts that are affected with many cancelled.
Too bad for northland, they only had a couple of days in orange and now back in red, I could see this coming.
Will be interesting to see how omicron cases spread compared to delta which has been extremely low.

A range of financial support is available again for businesses now that New Zealand is moving into the red COVID-19 traffic light setting.
What I would like to know where the hell is all this money coming from, they have just been throwing dollars after dollars after dollars of financial support because of covid, how much will we as taxpayers have to pay back when all this is over? Mind you they are making a mint because of the price of petrol I bet!
