  supply chain faltering

Anyone noticed missing items (apart from brown sugar/flour) on the supermarket shelves?
i cannot get my favourite salad dressing, Newmans Caesar vinaigrette, been gone for weeks.
No sparkling mineral water now for a couple of weeks.  my fave toothpaste (Sparkly Grape Gel for Kids) is mia as well.
shelves sans Smooth American Style peanut butter
Second week of no Noble cheese at New World.
had i known i would have started hoarding.

its a first world problem i know, but a problem nonetheless.
dry salad is virtually unpalatable. the bubbles in Soda Water are too big, not the same as mineral water.
there is no substitute for ones favourite peanut butter, its that or nothing.

im against it.

  Neil Young - good bloke.

Its always heartening to see a fellow Scorpio take a stand against wrong, the more so since he didn't have to do so. He could have simply ignored it, but had the guts to speak against idiocy.
Bloody good for him. Smile

"Neil Young has demanded that his music be removed from Spotify due to vaccine misinformation spread by podcaster Joe Rogan on the streaming service, saying: ÔÇ£They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.ÔÇØ

In an open letter to┬áhis manager and record label┬áthat was posted to his website and later taken down, Young wrote: ÔÇ£I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines ÔÇô potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them. Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.ÔÇØ

  Will Boris bugger off?
Posted by: Lilith7 - 25-01-2022, 06:02 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (15)

He seems to have overstepped the mark this time, & some within his own party want him out. Some say its inevitable but its Boris so who knows.
Who thinks yes, who thinks no? I think he'll somehow cling on a bit longer.

Fuck the jail cell  - a Bullet would be too good. Personally I'd dump that guy in a farm offal pit and put the lid on and park a tractor on the lid.

Michael Baker is scaremongering!

Professor Michael Baker is warning that every New Zealander will either get Omicron or know someone who gets it.

The Otago University epidemiologist told Newshub Kiwis have been "very removed from this threat" and he expected to see "tens of thousands of cases" over the next three or four months.
"We will see tens of thousands of cases and unfortunately several hundred deaths in the next three or four months.

I have no faith in these so called experts, they haven't been right once.

  Alert level red today...

Wonder what things are going to change? Seems its mostly concerts that are affected with many cancelled.

Too bad for northland, they only had a couple of days in orange and now back in red, I could see this coming.

Will be interesting to see how omicron cases spread compared to delta which has been extremely low.

"Luxon was confident talking about Delta because he thought it was an airline.  Now it's Omicron he's all flummoxed."
