Forget Uffindell, Labour is even in way worse mess!
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 16-08-2022, 12:09 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (21)

Looks like Labours "smear" campaign on Sam Uffindell has backfired.
Not looking good for labour at all.

Now when we get a whistleblower like Gaurav Sharma speak up, his party appear to quickly silence him and likely try and kick him out of the party the way things are going!

Its always the honest people that pay the price, his allegations over the bullying culture in Labour is a way more serious issue than what Uffindell did when he was 16.

Also it appears that another anonymous member from his party also has spoke up.
Lets hope more things come out of the woodwork for Labour, needless to say that this will be the last term for this Labour govt.

  Trump & the search warrant
Posted by: Lilith7 - 13-08-2022, 03:30 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (24)

I do believe that I can hear the sound of chickens coming home to roost; couldn't happen to a bigger bastard. he of course, is now claiming that the FBI 'planted evidence.'

"Agents removed 11 sets of documents, including some marked "TS/SCI", a designation for material that could cause "exceptionally grave" damage to US national security.
Mr Trump denied any wrongdoing and said the items were declassified.
It was the first time an ex-president's home was searched in a criminal probe.
The list of items was made public on Friday afternoon after a judge unsealed a seven-page document that included the warrant authorising the search of Mr Trump's Palm Beach residence, Mar-a-Lago.
It said more than 20 boxes of items were taken on Monday, including a binder of photos, a handwritten note, unspecified information about the "President of France" and a clemency letter written on behalf of long-time Trump ally Roger Stone."

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-62528709

"Why did the FBI search Mar-a-Lago?
In short, because the US Department of Justice suspects the former president may have committed a crime.

The search warrant, which has been made publicly available, shows FBI agents gathered evidence on 8 August as part of an investigation into whether Mr Trump mishandled government records by taking them from the White House to Mar-a-Lago.

It's worth noting here that US presidents must transfer all of their documents and emails to a government agency called the National Archives.

Earlier this year, that agency said it had retrieved 15 boxes of papers from Mar-a-Lago which Mr Trump should have handed over when he left the White House. It said they included classified information and asked the justice department to investigate.

To obtain the search warrant, prosecutors had to persuade a judge that they had probable cause to believe a crime may have been committed. We also know that the effort to seek a search warrant was signed off by the head of the justice department - the attorney general - who is the country's top legal official.

The FBI took 11 sets of classified files in total, including four that were labelled "top secret". Three sets were classified as "secret documents" and three were "confidential".

The cache also included files marked "TS/SCI", a designation for the country's most important secrets that if revealed publicly could cause "exceptionally grave" damage to US national security."

Grand Tour star James May 'was rushed to hospital after crashing into wall at 75mph during filming for the Amazon Prime show'
The presenter, 59, crashed into a wall at 75mph while shooting a stunt scene for his Amazon Prime show
James braked too slowly while racing rally cars with his co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond and 'broke at least one rib' during the incident
James was assisted out of his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 by paramedics and was quickly taken to hospital for a brain scan and X-rays

Makes a change its usually Hammond that crashes.

  The McBishop wants a trial
Posted by: Lilith7 - 11-08-2022, 07:09 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (6)

But only a mock trial, because he doesn't agree with or like the govt.
Well hell, I can think of another trial. One for those charlatans who target vulnerable people & fleece them in order to live the life of Riley. How about that, Brian?? Big Grin Big Grin Rolleyes

Police will be monitoring a protest led by Destiny Church's Brian Tamaki that intends marching through central Wellington before staging a mock trial at Parliament.
New details have emerged of the rally set to take place on August 23 that will see protesters from across New Zealand assemble at Civic Square before marching to Parliament where they will hold a self-styled "people's court".

The Freedom and Rights Coalition, a vocal opponent of the Government's pandemic vaccination mandates and laws, has posted a timetable of the day's protest action, summonsing people to leave work and attend the trial.
It says the defendants are the New Zealand Government and that they are facing "crimes against humanity".
The mock hearing is set to have a verdict delivered by the people at 1.30pm, on a day when the House is sitting.

The day is regarded as a means to get New Zealand back again with a declared aim of removing the Labour Government from office.

"You have been served," reads the post.

"The New Zealand public are (sic) issued with a notice of jury service.
"Kiwis are urged to seek leave from work for jury service on this history-making day!" reads a Facebook post."

This "woke" culture needs to go away!
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 09-08-2022, 11:58 AM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (30)

WTF is going on?
We now have drag queens reading childrens stories to kids at the library and this is now something considered "normal"
Its now considered hate speech to publicly say that guys cant be lesbians, there is currently a person in Norway fighting this in court.
You can no longer say that women have periods you have to say "people" have periods.
This is so messed up its not funny.
Now we have eskimo pies rebranded as "polar" pies and pascall eskimos are now called "explorers"
You can no longer sell golliwogs on trademe, but noddy books are still allowed.
IIRC, there was a time back in the 80s when we saw this happen when they tried to remove noddy books off the shelf.
