Kiwisaver 'witcheroo' to hit women, low paid workers hardest
Posted by: Lilith7 - 26-06-2025, 03:49 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - No Replies

Oops - switcheroo!

Well - of course it will. That, I suspect is the idea behind this.  Dodgy Angry

The long term aim of Neo Liberals does appear to be showing a tendency to want a move to a type of feudalism so obviously they'll hit hardest at those most vulnerable first.

If there's a more despicable type of politician - apart of course, from actual fascsists, hardline Stalin type Communists & the like, then I've not come across them.

He really is quite repulsive Dodgy

And narrow minded & I suspect very immature as well. How many well balanced people tend to burn a book, simply due to it having been written by a former PM who also happens to be a woman - possible the real problem these idiots have..well, one of them.

  On the issue of gender...
Posted by: Oh_hunnihunni - 25-06-2025, 09:12 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

Rob Moodie, for those of us old enough to remember was a nationally important figure in the Police who made quite an impact over the years in various ways. While I remember his penchant for what I assumed was cross dressing in gender diverse ways I wasn't aware of his feelings in regard to that choice, and even more interesting, the reasons or reason for that choice. Until I read this piece from Newsroom, by the man himself.

Once again I use one of my favourite phrases with pleasure - I learn something new every day.

Worth the quick read this is, and if you aren't surprised by the last bit, well...

just been to the local packnslave and picked up 3 fifty dollar notes by the checkout, was about to hand it in when a very upset 30ish looking woman approached the service desk asking if it had been handed in, i gave her the $$ she offered to buy me a scratchie but i said no, she definitely looked like she couldnt afford to loose any money

found a cellphone and set of keys including security keys on saturday while out with the dog at 4am, unbelievably the phone wasnt locked, sent a text to someone on his text list giving my number, he had his stuff back by 7am, he didnt even know he had lost it

see im not all bad

Excellent move.
They can't fly to Iran or Israel due to arirspace being restricted but if they're in the region then they should be able to do more once airspace is clear.

Hope they can get everyone out.

Wtf is wrong with us? We could do worse than to follow the Welsh example; they have a 'duty to assist' legislation to help prevent homelessness. It holds local authorities responsible to prevent homelessness.

And of course, nothing at all to do with those stricter emergency housing rules

Thumbs Down Victim of the Day political campaign

Anne Salmond says it all in response to David Seymours new farcebook page strategy of attacking those academics who oppose his current campaign to undermine Maori sovereignty and cut Treaty obligations out of legislative progress. Anyone who thinks the right wing disease spreading through the western world could not take root here needs to read this piece...
