I've lost the plot and run out of bad language, so trying here.

I took photos on my phone, I then uploaded them to that hateful Onedrive, and then I downloaded them to my PC so I had copies on that.

Then I moved them from the Downloads folder to the Pictures folder under Desktop. Yesterday.

Tonight I went to add a photo to my desktop and they didn't show in the Pictures folder, but when I access the Pictures folder thru Explorer they show with circling blue arrows and the notation 'sync pending'.

I Googled, without any luck. Apparently they 'take time' to sync with Onedrive, but why do they need to 'sync' if I've downloaded them??? As far as I'm concerned if I've downloaded them from Onedrive then Onedrive can f*** off!

Any ideas people? How can my photos be independent of Onedrive on my PC?

Thanks.
