Take care Roma - yes rest is the answer for covid.

Thanks to KiwimaidÔÇÖs endorsement another ÔÇ£machineÔÇØ I really love is my Karcher window vac. Which I have recently purchased. Took it over to my sisterÔÇÖs and one thing I never thought I would say was ÔÇ£would you like me to do your windowsÔÇØ! She couldnÔÇÖt get over how clean they looked - no streaks.

I love mine. A friend sold me hers for $20, and then found all the extensions which she handed over but I have not needed so far. The little vac is a boon for window washing. I should use it in the shower but haven't got round to that either! I also like their little steam machine. Excellent for grotty spots! Another very good second hand buy!

Lawns done Big Grin what a good workout that was lol

omg I love my karcher window vac. We have those 'crying windows' as we bought an older house and until we can get a ventilation system in (soon, I hope) I rely on the window vac to get rid of the water. I also have the poles so can reach windows outside and in the kitchen. I don't have to climb on the bench to clean anymore. As we are rural, any water saving is great, and I can clean the outside windows without using the hose and only half a squirty bottle of liquid. Thanks for the tip about the steamer, OHH. That could be very useful here.

The polar fleece sheets are dry, knew I should have bought two pair lol. But I see the warehouse is having a polar sheet sale so might have to have a look.

get well soon, Roma Smile Fingers crossed you have a 'mild' dose of Covid.

Going to buy a window vac - my windows this morning are crying bucketfuls- left the aircon on as I knew it was going to drop to 2deg - can remember when I first wanted this Art Deco house Robie saying several times it isnÔÇÖt insulated .Dont regret moving here but must say I didnÔÇÖt give my DVS in the previous house the gratitude it deserved .
Beautiful day here today - am working on my butterfly thesis again today

If you're buying a window vac - buy a Karcher. I used to sell these things, and Mitre 10 had an "own brand" one which was cheaper - we used to see them back as warranty returns all the time. The Karchers, though, were fine.
I do have other cameras!

Sunny at last but garden still too wet to be able to do much; after all the rain its too wet/heavy for digging. Working on a couple of photoshop paintings again instead.
We went for a longish walk down through the lower park & much of it is still under massive puddles so it was either wade along the path or squelch through the muddy grass. I opted for the path but the dog had other ideas, apparently there were some interesting pmails in the muddiest bits.

Moving furniture... Obviously a glutton for punishment, but I really needed to get rid of the grot that I know is underneath my storage units. Half done, feeling all saintly now. Will get out the vac tomorrow and hoover up all the spiders...

Boy, it is warm in here now though with the sun pouring in. Got all enthusiastic and booked a service for the scoot. A quote I requested last week for replacement batteries came in at just over $800, so I think I better get a serviceman to tell me exactly what I need rather than just rely on guesswork. It will be good to know the beast is in good health though, so worth the call out fee.

Yep I love my Karcher too...

This house isn't so bad but our previous was soo wet. The landlord thought it might be a good idea to drill more drainage holes in the windows, thus letting in more cold and making more water.

Spose I should consider something for tea... But Im not hungry...

2 blardy hours to De-box the Machine, do up 6 bolts, and a lot of standing as well.

I hate my fingers.

Did the Catcher back to front so had to undo it and change the side.

But its done, Im going to get a bloke in to see if I have it all done right.

No English Instructions so worked by the pictures.

He's a Pretty strong Gym Master. An 18 inch cut too which is good.

morning ladies from a very foggy Waikato Smile

Well done, popeye on putting the lawnmower together. Frustrating the instructions weren't in English though.

Another trip to Hamilton for me this morning and while there I need to buy a new pair of jeans. The roses fought back when pruning and ripped my favourite pair.

I'm slowly picking away at the butterflies for the second side of the tote bag. Am glad you are enjoying your butterfly show, JanW. What a treat!

Happy crafting Smile

Good morning.

It's a bit cooler this morning,  but the day is looking bright and sunny outside. Washing on the go.

Good on you Popeye for getting the mower to that stage. You'll be using it in no time!

I meant to say Mica, I hope all goes well with the impending arrival of your new grandchild. Our granddaughter is only a few months away and apparently kicking up a storm  Heart

Just the cough to deal with now, lozenges help. DH is free to be out in the world which will be useful. I'll keep on doing 'not much'!

NZ continues to do well at the Games.

Enjoy the day all.

Good morning - should I buy the basic Karcher or spend a bit more and get the next model - I really only want it for my crying windows -
My old boys freesias are stunning - the wee worm must have done the trick - it was the wrong time of the year when he decided he was going to do a pot of freesias for Mum - he went all over the place trying to get bulbs - glad he did - some of the things on his bucket list were hilarious
We have a lovely day again Veronica except for the wind - I donÔÇÖt remember having so many windy days at this time of the year

Well done putting together the lawnmower Popeye - I'm almost entirely useless at stuff like that.

Managed to get the dreaded groceries done this morning - a lovely sunny day, the first time I've been able to do it on their gold card discount day for a couple of weeks due to the awful weather here.
Was messaging a friend on FB earlier; she's waiting for surgery to remove a cancer growth so not working at present, doing lots of cooking & things around the house & wanted a recipe I have for chicken Marengo. Haven't made it for years so had a bit of a search through older recipe books to find it.
Hoping to get into the garden later if its not too heavy to dig out there.
