NGR number plates deemed offensive

TBH, it never even crossed my mind what it could mean, some people must be looking for ways to be offended.
It's just a random series of letters/numbers.

I've seen people online commenting that it's racist.. but surely the only racist thing is to think it's racist? It's literally a sequence of letters/numbers...

Anyone complaining about those number plates should pause and think what they are going to do about the countries of Niger and Nigeria.

My number plate includes the letters FFU and when I bought the car had a fleeting thought that in some circumstances it could cause offence.  I immediately dismissed the thought and I have never had any complaints.  Of course I have no idea what some may have thought of my driving.
