Putting it like that, not sure I like any of them. That is, assuming you mean, that if you're telling a friend about this site, you might say "it's a messageboard called "Talk Master". Is that what you mean?

Not at all, the TM component is exactly what we are renaming. Currently it is 'Too Many' - what i'm suggesting is, if we want this to be a catchy brand name to attract new users, then the new name should not need to rely on the 'Message Boards'  (or whatever other word that the MB are) to make sense...

think of the all the big? brands, McDonalds, TradeMe, Dell, NZ1ssues even... Short and sweet

this is just my personal opinion on what it needs to be, if it is to be an attractive proposition to new users.

To be honest, I've done alot of google searching, in trying to find the ones I've posted, so I'm all out of ideas now.

My vote would be for....TranzMit; or TellMe.

At least the Talk2Me must have been a good idea, if it's been taken.:-))

Well they kind of do fit in that they aren't part of a sentence and can be used on their own.

it could be, for example, The Mixed Messages Board (full name) which means we don't need to change domain - but it doesn't need the 'The' or the 'Board' to make sense.  For all intents and purposes it could just be known as 'Mixed Messages' (for example).

TranzMit is definitely up there though

I did and all that came up was a food outlet down the road from me Tu meke BBQ

Google translates it to "You do not"

so I feel like i'm missing something...
