Good morning.
A cold 3 degrees but the sun is out.  Snow from yesterday sparkling on the mountains this morning.  
A wild, wet day yesterday for many.  DS in Wellington bravely/stupidly still biked to work 
 It was probably still safer than by bus. Meanwhile, miserable and wet back home my other son says. 
Yesterday we were out and about,  the scenery stunning in the SI at this time of year especially ...  Autumn leaves on trees so bright. Yes, mostly Asian tourists fossicking for chestnuts ... I wonder how they like to eat them  
I might also do some baking  ... perhaps muffins.  GS is a good eater which makes life easier. 
Will get out and about again later ... need the layers on today though.
