morning ladies 
We've had lots of rain overnight so no need to water the garden.

When I was clearing out Dad's stuff, I found loads of medication Dad had hoarded. I returned supermarket bags of them to the chemist only for them to be dumped. Such a waste.
The lawn needs mowing today, I'll get to it shortly. And of course the convolvulus is enjoying this humidity and rain and is going nuts again.
Last evening I heard the pitter patter of feet in the ceiling and knew that rat the Furry One let go is there. More bait and a trap up there, I think. As soon as the maize was planted in the paddock next to us, we knew we would have rats again. Really pi**** me off as it took years to get the rodents under control here.
The embroidery fabric I ordered will be sent out on Monday. I had another really good look at the site and omg I was drooling over the threads lol. Have definitely found my 'happy website' lol. I'm seriously thinking of ordering the etoile thread, it has such a lovely shimmer and would be perfect for pohutukawa flowers. The fishing rod money has come at the right time lol.
