National would use sanctions against those with disabilities who can't find work
#8
Jonathan had to become an IT expert in order to gain decent employment. He runs excellent podcasts on Disability Issues.. And I back him 100% in his statement. Government Departments, Ministries and Agencies all negatively discriminate against people with disabilities. However if you can pass as non-disabled you have a much better chance of getting employed.
One can also examine agencies that purport to help people with disabilities such as :- CCS (Crippled Children's Society), IHC (Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society) or a book edited by former Prime Minister Geoff Palmer on Mental Retardation. All such Nice Derogatory Titles. Then ask these agencies how many people with disabilities (including their own clients) that are employed by them, then tell them no client employment ~ no donation unless they change their behavior.
The Office for Disability Issues always had a non-disabled person in charge. (Deliberately of course as that was part of Carmel's Ministry) > She did not enjoy the sustained lobbying requesting a person with a disability be in charge of the new Ministry of Disabled People.
Remember that the Nazis with their eugenics program started eliminating people with disabilities long before their ethnic cleansing of Jews and Slavs. Such attitudes persist for generations.
