I had to get up in the small hours and fetch my Amish to add another layer. Fortunately it hadn't hibernated yet and was draped over the chair three steps away...
I might leave it at the foot of the bed for a few more weeks. Just in case.
A picot edge was one thing my gran managed to get into my head, it is a pretty thing, worth the effort.

Nearly at the end of the Christmas shawl, about 450 stitches across now so growing more slowly. I want to do a picot cast off so that will be slow. Have a couple of ÔÇ£no thinkÔÇØ things on the needles too when I get tired of having to concentrate quite as much.
Stained half a deck of a friend yesterday so will go soon and do the other half.
