Yeah... comes down to simply picking the best of a bad bunch.

Damn right, pick the best "evil" they are all bad but you gotta pick your best option. Time more people stand up, but unfortunately those what have the ability to fix this country dont want to be bothered with the stress of the job, fair call i guess.

How does one prove an ability to fix a country? 
I would suggest very few people on the planet could 'fix' a country, unless you have a very loose definition of the word 'fix' - enter the politician
