Has Trade Me introduced yet another hurdle for those wanting to avoid their inhouse payment platform in not automatically providing these details or were we just unlucky to strike two sellers on the trot who are too slack to compose Payment Instructions?
I've had a couple lately where the seller thought the payment instructions were set up, but somehow didn't come through. When I let the seller know that I was waiting for a bank account number they were surprised. As a buyer I do prefer Ping, but understand that it costs so don't mind if I need to deposit to an account myself.
TM has a lot of inefficiency and annoyances, but in fact I'm using them more than ever for purchases. To "go shopping" costs fuel, time and risks catching viruses, so if I can buy what I want at the price I want to pay, I do it online and start with TM.
