there's some really nice British coins in the upcoming Noble. I don't think an Una has been on auction in Australasia before, not recently anyway?
I reckon the Numismatic Society could organise a field trip to the Noble? Jim might even let some people touch the Una (wearing special coin touching gloves of course!).
Participants in the trip could bid in person, and there could be a whip round to bid on some of the expensive lesser value pieces (one of the Penny Proofs, 1935 Silver Jubilee Crown proof?). Although I suspect with such high quality pieces up for auction at the one time a lot of rich pricks will be attracted and the bidding will be way over the top, as occurred in the Freehill auction.
