I'm finding that most of the time if you wait a few seconds after opening a page, it reloads automatically.
The annoyance is when posting though - here is a couple of quick tips I find helpful
Quick Reply:
if the post doesn't go through within 10 seconds (ie the spinning circle), just hit the post reply button again. Easy enough to delete a double up if that happens
For a full reply or edit: If it fails to post and reload the page, you can do a "refresh" of the tab using the refresh button or F5 on windows, but you will need to say yes to re-submitting the form. Normally that is not recommended, especially for purchase transactions, but in this case for a simple post it is Ok.
and, if in doubt or if its a decent sized post that took a bit of time to construct, take a copy of the text just in case, while we work through these problems...
