Mandatory vasectomies?

After reading this I don't think many will be keen to have one.

Vasectomy reversal is more difficult than a vasectomy and should be done using microsurgery, in which a surgeon uses a powerful surgical microscope to magnify the vas deferens as much as 40 times its size. This type of surgery requires specialized skills and expertise.

How quickly can you reverse a vasectomy?
Vasectomies may be reversible up to 20 years or longer after the initial procedure. But the longer you wait to reverse a vasectomy, the less likely that you'll be able to have a child after the procedure.

Vasectomy reversal costs can run anywhere from just $800 to more than $70,000 or more. The cost by most leading urologic experts runs from about $8000 to $15,000 with a few as high as $70,000, all for the very same procedure with the similar results.

Even so, its still less complicated & cheaper, then a tubal ligation, which involves abdominal surgery & takes some time to recover from.

If it was up to me, all  contraceptives & surgery to prevent pregnancies would be paid for with taxes, so free when the need arises.
