It sounds like you had a productive birthday, popeye. What a lovely man your neighbour is.

I read this morning there was a ram raid in the town over from us and they caught one of the little buggars.

Our cats have always been moggies but the last two were semi-feral brother and sister. Our rescued labby had just come to live with us and she had finished weaning a litter of pups. Those kittens didn't stand a chance with her mothering lol. They were licked from nose to tail and picked up and carried all over the house. I remember them being little spitfires lol but she kept at it. They all settled down and were great friends and rivals for years.

Our son is enjoying his new job, you can certainly hear the relief in his voice when we talk on the phone. Now he can make plans and start living. Finally have both kids settled (for now lol.)

Housework for me today, not that there is much to do. I might even feel inspired to pull another room apart and 'spring' clean. That depends on how yesterday's bruises react but there aren't as many as I thought. Could be the extra 'padding' I have And I plan to stitch today.
