morning ladies   Another calm start to the morning, it's been lovely not having the wind.
I wear boots too but thanks to having an ankle ligament reconstruction 22 years ago I have one fat ugly ankle and one 'regular' ankle.  Because of this I have problems finding boots that can fit over the fat ugly ankle and can't fit zipped boots.  I have a pair of pull on ankle boots I have had resoled several times as they are easy to wear.  It also means I have to try boots on before I buy so can't buy online.  On the plus side, I don't sprain my ankle nearly as often as I used too.
Autum is in the air and I think this is our last week of daylight saving   and it also means interesting things are happening in the garden.  We spotted some toadstools the other day and then yesterday some interesting (well I thought they were lol) grey fungi.  When MrK saw them they were flat but by the time I got the camera and came back, they had curled their edges up.  I thought I would share the pics with you as they have interesting lines, shapes and colours.  Inspirational for embroidery

I'm still working on under the wing of the falcon and should finish that part some time today.  Then I can begin embroidering from the falcon's shoulder down the outer part of his wing.  Am happy with it so far
