morning ladies   We had the briefest of brief rain showers yesterday.  MrK said you could measure between the raindrops lol.  The rain barely touched the ground and it was all over.  Lilith, send your rain here, we'll take it!  The maize contractors won't be happy but we will lol.
Wow, oh_hunnihunni, that power bill is cheap! We're in the throws of changing our power company and are looking forward to their cheaper rates.  We're also one of the low users who will be paying more once the low user cheaper rates are stopped.
I've lost  my secateurs     and suspect I have swept them up with the garden waste and binned them    They were a very good pair too     I need small garden tools to be fluro coloured so they stick out like a sore thumb in the garden.  What really annoys me is I am usually so careful with tools as I've lost secateurs this way before.  On the bright side, my birthday is coming up so I'll buy a new pair then.  That will give me time to decide what secateurs I need.  In the meantime I'll use the loppers and a pair of very good pointy snips.
I didn't start my falcon yesterday as I'm trying to keep the fabric taut in my frame. My hoop isn't tight enough but I can wrap some bias binding around it (a dot of glue on the ends) to grip the fabric.   I suspect I will have to dig out my old wooden frame and stitch the fabric to it so bought some tape to sew the sides of the fabric to the frame as well as the ends  and this should make all four sides taut.  I'll take a pic when it's done so you can see what I mean.
Today I'm going to dig out the carnation and some other small plants and replant them where they won't be quite so squashed.  I'll give them a good soak in worm wee first.
Happy crafting
