to pre ordain it as bollocks does not alter that, it merely confirms that you know what the answer is but dont like it.
and you dont like it because the left is in power and after promising the world delivered nothing, in fact making homelessness and housing prices worse than before.  id be embarrassed and looking to scapegoat landlords and grocers and retailers too.
its a cock up of biblical proportions.
being so blindly left, makes you blind in one eye.

'lillith  The whole housing issue needs sorting out I think"

no shit. i could swear we voted in a government that was going to do just that.
in fact they ran on it as an election platform if i recall.

"Proven law of economics" it may be - its also sheer unbridled greed, taking advantage of shortages to hike prices in order to make a fatter profit. A good strong dash of fairness wouldn't come amiss.
And no govt AFAIK, has ever yet done every last thing they claimed to be going to do prior to being voted into govt.
anything theyve achieved will do. housing? child poverty? slow down immigration? anything?
roading? infrastructure? they have cancelled more projects than theyve started.
i see the balanced view, non partisan, apolitical. i can give credit where is due,
theyve done an excellent job with covid.
i can give a brickbat too.
theyve done fuck all else.
So if you disappear out of view You know I will never say goodbye
