I recently found a website of Lovatts with online puzzles and they put up new puzzles every day at different levels. I enjoy doing them and keeping the mind active as I get older.Sadly there isn't much evidence that puzzles such as crosswords, Sudoku, Wordle etc do much to fend off dementia.   They are fun and may help to keep us cheerful, but that's about it.   The reason seems to be that they all use knowledge that we already have and do not create new neural pathways.
A better way to keep your brain working is to learn something new such as a foreign language or a musical instrument, or learn about a field of knowledge that you are interested in but have never studied.
