While we are supposed to be living independently, sometimes when we get very very elderly that becomes impossible, and for her at 90 something she is at that stage where moving into care is the next step. But boy is she fighting it. Refusing all advice, locking her teeth and staying put, forcing her daughters to travel miles every week to bring groceries and clean for her, with home help to do the basics, and an ambulance to calm her fears when her heart does a wee race and bounce. So, when we see the familiar green and yellow ambulance we all wonder for her, if this is the final straw. Not the best start to the day then, glad it improved. I hope I never get to that stage, poor woman.
This old age thing is a pain.
On a brighter note, I have packages at the door this morning, a couple of TM bargains have arrived to boost my already very fat wardrobe. And excellent buys they are too, very happy Hunni today, a reward perhaps for the decluttering campaign I am in the middle of. Making room for more pretties!!
My ebayau  purchase of the final series of Shameless arrived yesterday which brightened my day up somewhat. And the smartarse Houdini dog has learned to open her crate - oh joy!
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
