morning ladies We had rain! Omggg lol even the grass is starting to green up a bit. And it looks like we will have more today too.
Thank you for your comments about my frog. I spent quite a bit of time on it yesterday and if it keeps raining today, will finish it. I'm thinking of putting dragonflies on the other side of the bag and scattering a few around the frog. I'll post another pic when done Time to start thinking about what to stitch next.
Roma, I read on Stuff a few minutes ago, brown sugar will be back on our shelves over the next week or two. I've missed it for baking but must admit my waistline hasn't.
Jan, that is a lot of money in one shop! I've shopped normally (or as 'normally' as stock allows) since the beginning of the pandemic. I suppose on the flip side though, if you have a family and one gets omicron, it will take weeks to work it's way through the family and they could be self isolating for over a month so I guessthey are thinking along those lines. I've had a 'stock take' of what we have and we have most things on the government checklist. I need to buy more tissues as a box was opened the other day. I always have a spare in the cupboard as hayfever is a bi***. And if I buy ice blocks I know they will just be eaten lol. And I used the last of the disposable gloves when cleaning the oven not long ago so must replace them.
MrK went for his booster jab the other day but was turned away as he was a week away from his four month gap. So we wait until next week for him. I'll try and find a local walk in for him otherwise we'll be in Rotorua soon and will find one there. He's not saying anything but I can see he's stressing about it.
Time to bet a move on, things to do in spite of the rain
Happy crafting
