if its in russia it had to go through ukraine to get there (on foot)
that will balance out the human element.

Then I had to go & damn well look the bloody word up, didn't I!  But yes, exactly.
The trouble is the Russians might just keep schtum if there's omicrom among them, not wanting to appear weak.
