This is the difference between the two camps. On,  one side there is the group who supports protecting the wider community, and on the other those who support protecting themselves.
I'm very proud of my daughter,  she has grown into a stunning woman with good morals and tremendous courage.
That is not taking one for the team, that is stupidity dare I say it... Covid will be gone in a few years, she will be left with permanently degraded vision for the rest of her life.
The world would be a perfect place, if it wasn't for the humans.
