morning ladies
Another hot day is on the cards by the looks of it.
I'm back in Hamilton this morning to take a piece of the wall trim back to our son.  MrK had to use his jigsaw to cut out where the fire alarm goes.  It's only a small piece but it will finish things off.  While in Hamilton I'll get the groceries and pick up son's Christmas present from Bunnings click and collect.  I love click and collect, saves a lot of time and mucking about.
The lawn is all mowed but I swear you can watch it grow.  Even  our farming neighbour has said he has never seen grass and  maize grow so fast this spring/summer.    I have a huge cane on Ingrid Bergman with 11 buds and can't wait to pick it.  I am hoping it will be ready just before Christmas Day.  I noticed we have our first pumpkin growing, hard to believe they start out so tiny.  And we have figs on the fig tree too.  Plums are growing and some have a bit of blush on them already.
No embroidery for me yesterday.  I can't think why I'm procrastinating over this piece.  I must get it done.  Maybe I've just lost my mojo for a bit or maybe it's simply that time of year where there is lots to do.  I think I'll set some time aside each day and work on it.
Happy crafting
