agree with The Expanse - distinct lack of scifi in that list from the look of it, westworld and Battlestar Galactica, that's about it
The world would be a perfect place, if it wasn't for the humans.

For those long running series I usually get bored after 4 or 5 series and give up.

Watched all of Game of Thrones and then wished I hadn't - what a pathetic useless ending to it.
Made me annoyed actually that they had so little respect for their loyal fans!
(No, not me - my son and daughter who had read all the books as they came out and had so much been looking forward to the Tv series).
They got me into it.

I did too, and for me the two were very different works of art. I loved the books and reread them at intervals, but the tv series was glorious in its imagery. Loved both...

Too many series go on past their use by date. Breaking Bad was great in that it ended perfectly same with Battlestar Galactica. The writers knew they only wanted 4 seasons and had it mapped out. GOT was great until season 8. However having recently rewatched it it was only going to end with Denarys dead. You could see the change in her all the way through. Making Jon a Targaryan was well thought out.

Agree also re The Expanse - excellent series. Want to continue watching but not sure if Amazon Prime has all the series or just their ones. We only got to S3

Season six is coming in December.

That is why I have Prime!

I've not seen any of those!
I do have other cameras!

I loved Game of thrones - both the series & books despite being differences. But the ending of the TV series really annoyed me since it didn't make sense. And if George Martin doesn't hurry up with that final book & I fall off the perch first then I intend to come back & haunt him.

Loved Breaking bad as well; & definitely agree that some series just go on for far too long.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
