Lovely coos as my Dad would call them...
So if I do it from my laptop I might have better luck... I will experiment! Mind you, I guess I will have to email my pics to myself, no camera on that thing... So maybe this is easier, if long winded! https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/...437874.jpg

morning ladies another wet day today but omg it's still warm.
Jan, it was a gorgeous sunset too. But those cows are just so damed cute! <3 Windows have changed, arrggg.. now I'll have MrK moaning when he uses the computer lol. He hates it when they change things especially online. I spent some time on my falcon yesterday and so far, so good. Just a little unpicking as I laid the stitches in the wrong direction but other than that, am happy. This morning I have a quick run into town to take a friend's cat to the vet for her (she has no transport) and pick up MrK's script. The chemist was so busy last week as one of our chemist shops was closed due to staff shortages. I just dropped his script in and said it wasn't urgent. Time to get cracking, mornings go quickly. Morning everyone
It has rained overnight again Sooo love the cows Jan... and the Jacket Ohh.. Ill try again later to add a photo.. First I have to sort out how to get the stupid proof of MrP being well to the clinic he is going to without me. And he cant work his phone enough to be able to do it. grrr A new step for the covid stuff. Then I to have to pop up for my pills. I dont have any for this morning. Im not worried tho, so long as I have my warfarin tonight I dont care if I miss some. I tried a different shop for fish and chips last night... Jan I tried the fisherking ones and they were ok but I dont really like any of the boxed fish. Every so often I get a made craving for fish. I must be lacking in the minerals. Anyway I got a good amount for $6 , the fish was ok, but everything was quite bland. Judging by the colour Id say they changed the oil yesterday, so maybe in another day or too it would have more flavour lol. Right I better get this phone call made to sort out MrP.. Have a fab day everyone
They told me I couldn't, so I did.!!

I like the flash frozen fish fillets from the supermarket, such an easy dinner. I do them as fish burgers with heaps of salad and a small handful of beer battered chips. When I think of the effort that used to go into prepping and cooking fish and chips for dinner I wonder at the energy we had! Mind you, nothing on Earth tastes as good as fresh caught blue cod, I do miss that a lot!
Good news in the letterbox this morning, the ceo of our corporate LL has resigned, packed up, and gone. We are all hoping for a change in culture when an new one is appointed. Funny though that it happened so fast, and with no succession plan in place. No doubt the gossip mill will provides many possible answers!

Good afternoon just planted more propagated seeds out into my veggie pod - must say itÔÇÖs giving me a real buzz growing them from seed - wouldnÔÇÖt want to do it for a great big garden - have a few twisted cauliflower growing - the leaves supposedly grow upright and cover the head taking up less room in the garden - will be interesting to see what I end up with
The fish and chips for $3.99 is cheap enough - I just added salad and dressing and told myself at least I was getting a cheap and convenient serve of fish without having to go out to the fish and chip shop I am getting lazy in my old age - but cooking for one is a pain so I am finding myself taking shortcuts all the time Just read in the paper Popeye the local community dental centre - I didnÔÇÖt know we had one - has sent all their staff to help at the local rest home as its school holidays and the kids wonÔÇÖt be coming and the DHB have hired the cooks and kitchen staff from the posh boarding schools to give the staff in the rest homes a break - so keep on agitating the Ministry are obviously aware they need to do more I am struggling with Dr Seuss - keep telling myself it will be worth it - I think what I need is another simple project on the go I am battling the spiders who are determined to live in the wheels of my car and now the ants who now want to spend the day in my kitchen - donÔÇÖt like killing anything but unfortunately they just arenÔÇÖt welcome

Power is back on... I started the other diamond painting. And it was hard work in the dark but of course the sun also came out when the power came back on lol. But Ive also listened to my shoulder and have given up for the day.
I will say it was a good size meal tho Jan. And easy enough for anyone to do. MrP will be on his way to his appointment now... usually when he is not there they go straight to Bobbie to ask where he is.. So she is going to put her best Poker face on and say I Don't know in her best Scottish accent lol... And then it will be around the other way on Thursday when Bobbie has gone to her eye appointment . lol. July babies are Born Cheeky Im sure lol.
They told me I couldn't, so I did.!!

Good luck with any new CEO, Hunni; interesting that the other went so suddenly.
A bit of an odd start to the morning today - I'd just gone down the path with the bike, helmet on ready to head out for groceries when a strange car pulled up the drive & there was eldest granddaughter. I'd forgotten she said they were getting a bigger car. So she took me round to do the dreaded shopping, then back to mine for a cuppa & a catch up. With them living out of town now, we don't see as much of each other so when she wasn't all that well & took the day off she decided to visit. They'd taken their boys camping with a group of friends & their kids over easter so I hope she hasn't caught he flu or something.

morning ladies Big black clouds overhead, am hoping I can mow the lawn today. Should have done it yesterday but oh well.
It's going to be a quiet day, I think. MrK is hobbling around, heaven knows what he's done to his foot. But he said the other day it feels like it's on the mend. And I noticed he was walking without too much of a limp too. The clematis seeds haven't germinated yet, it's been a week. Jan, your vege pod sounds well used. I must look up those twisted caulis, they could fit into our garden. We grow the canon ball cabbages as they are small. The Drunken Women lettuces are growing everywhere lol. Even between cracks in the concrete. Definitely not fussy growers! Uggghh, I can hear that rat in the ceiling. It has very much out weighed it's welcome. I'll throw some bait up there and that should do the trick. It has avoided the traps so far. When it rains, I'll stitch a bit more. I was going to work from the bottom up but changed my mind. It just felt odd. Am working down the back of the head and under the eye heading towards the beak. The beak will be a challenge to stitch it in the right angles. But first, the lawn! Still a bit damp up here too, which does not bode well for my Wednesday coffee'n cake with my ladies. Still, I have a couple of books, wine and cat food to last us, so no desperation called for.
And a TradeMe parcel with the courier. That is always something to look forward to!
Good Morning everyone
Tis overcast but no rain overnight. OHH a great idea using trade me to get the photos sorted so there will be two at the end on my post. The First the Missy picture I completed.. And then MrP and his best Buddy Bobbie out for a walk in the garden.. I want to make it into a diamond painting at some stage. The power was off for 3 hours yesterday. They were working on the corner and Im not sure if it was the corner house or second back the digger was in there too. Sounds like they are still working tho. I started the Ginger bread house painting. Its done with round diamonds and is so much faster. No lights tho so that made it harder work. And of course the Sun came out 2 minutes after I packed it up lol. Going up to see the trouble makers today... MrPs eye appointment went well. He has cataracts in both eyes.. Although I will say until I see it in writing I will believe it fully. Two years ago he had nothing. Right Ill add these photos. https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/...329835.jpg https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/...330000.jpg Last year the shirt MrP is wearing was skin tight... Im bringing it home with me today so I can iron it. It came back in the washing yesterday. Its the one and only that needs ironing. The photo would have been much nicer had it been ironed. Bobbie is 87 in July. MrP is 76... And they are Double Trouble lol. Have a fab day everyone

Very cute cat - & those two manage to look like trouble.
Went further afield today as needed oil for the mower & some new secateurs; the old ones are blunt & hard to use. Not as many people out & about as I'd expected but it took longer than I'd thought it would so the dog is not pleased.
