TM changes
#21
It'd be nice if they'd sort out the problems. If this keeps up, they might have to close.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

I think that's just telling you what the closing date and time is, not that it's actually closing right now.

So I emailed him asking what the problem was, and it seems he actually placed three thumbs up emojis but TMs system can't handle that... So once again I have to explain how to edit feedback. TM should be paying us to sort these stuff ups out.
That's been a problem since forever.

lol, I completely misread that...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

That's normal too, now.

TradeMe automatically re-adds relisted items to your watchlist, so you're going to have the old watchers when you relist, until they click "remove from watchlist" on the auction.

Yes, you are right. After having got used to it that is something I do like. It's easy enough to untick when I'm no longer interested, but great to have the item come up again if I simply forgot to buy it on time, or it's something that I'm watching for whatever other reason. Sometimes it's because the price is too high and I stay there in the hope that the seller will eventually reduce it when they don't get an immediate sale.

Amrist, I can't see why you would want to get rid of watchers. Any of them might buy your product at any time and their presence might help push someone else into making a decision to buy..

The first half of my post just then disappeared....

I'm interested in the problem people are having with TM. Buying via TM is my preference for a lot of things that I buy and I have had no problems at all with transactions.

I do hate the way the feedback list looks and works, but if I come in the right way I can sometimes still see the old version which is much better.

My biggest frustration is with the terrible search engine and the search alerts that simply don't work. I'm surprised that TM haven't fixed that long ago since they must be losing sales from it.

I hate logging on see a page from years back and an auction that sold on a later listing. I hate having to go to the desktop mode in order to edit feedback, but I do like the fact they have changed payment arrangements to opt in instead of the sneaky opt out.

And like you, I still like buying...
