AI Overview

Recently I'm seeing this content as the top result on many Google searches but on subjects that I'm familiar with the info provided is inaccurate in many cases. A case of data being harvested from less than reliable sources on the internet is my suspicion. As a result I'm now disregarding anything that AI Overview displays as I do any embedded content such as adverts, social media links and the like.

AI is just imitation without understanding.

It has no actual intelligence or critical thinking ability and is thus duped by misinformation as easily as the average American voter.

I would never trust it for accurate information either.

AI is completely unreliable and now an unwelcome distraction when it heads search results.  And could be dangerous for gullible people who rely on it.
