I have just seen my bank statement and the pension, which was $1033  per fortnight has gone down by $41, That's a sizeable chunk of my grocery bill. I'm going to have to tighten my belt somewhat.
I don't remember any of the political parties saying they were going to reduce the pension.
Does the reduction affect anyone else?

Are you sure it isn't the end of the winter energy payment? Mine hasn't changed.

Or partial reduction on disability allowance to remove prescription charges?

The previous payment included a small extra for the last few days of the heating allowance.   My payment received on Friday was back to the normal amount.
I've looked it up for you: the standard net rate for a person living alone is $496.37, i.e. $992.74 per fortnight. So unless you are entitled to some kind of extra allowance you have received the correct amount.
