Serious misconduct? - Magenta69 - 17-08-2022 Who would want to be a teacher when they are treated like this. https://www.stuff.co.nz/opinion/129587289/teachers-reward-for-doing-the-right-thing-was-to-be-abused--twice RE: Serious misconduct? - Oh_hunnihunni - 17-08-2022 I agree with Joe Bennett. The Teachers Council is run by idiots. RE: Serious misconduct? - C_T_Russell - 17-08-2022 Its disgusting, and the students have more rights than the teachers. I know someone who worked as a teacher and in the end she gave it up. You couldnt even yell at a student anymore, she told me that was classed as assault. So basically with problem kids, you had to put up with their bad behavior in the class with no way to deal with them other than sending them to detention after school. Kids assault each other and nothing happens. Teachers try to keep order and get kicked by the system. And we wonder why the kids grow up bullies. RE: Serious misconduct? - king1 - 17-08-2022 yeah pretty stupid labelling that serious misconduct. unless there is more to this story... RE: Serious misconduct? - Lilith7 - 17-08-2022 Definitely agree with Joe Bennet; this was hardly a violent assault fgs. |
