Supermarket watchdog. - Oldfellah - 07-07-2022 David Clark says he expects Kiwis will be significantly better off because of the Government's new supermarket watchdog, but couldn't reveal exactly how much shoppers will save or when. Typical of this government they know stuff all. From here we get 1,787,900 Households https://www.stats.govt.nz/information-releases/dwelling-and-household-estimates-march-2020-quarter Annualised we get 365,000,000 / 1,787,900 = $204.15 per household, per year... This won't take into account the amount you spend on groceries, if you are a smaller spender of say $100/week on groceries then you will probably get a smaller share... Now everyone can jump for joy...
