theyve still got maskholes down there, abusing locals and retailers.

wtf? i thought it was a hippy enclave.
last time i was in havelock it smelled like incense and mussels
you could buy toe rings at the dairy.
the busiest shop was the bead/crystal/fantasy on the main drag.
have the hippies grown old and embittered?
or have their kids grown up without enough red meat in their diets.?
who would have thought assholes would assemble geographically?
unusual that a place so benign be saturated with slack jawed window lickers.

How bizarre.
Mind you, I found something even more bizarre in a side panel of that news item - a school has just fired an assistant principal who's a Kiwi, for reading " I need a new bum" to kids.
