Sleepyhead boycott - Olive - 03-03-2022 This reads like a crude parody but apparently it is genuine. https://www.thedailyexaminer.co.nz/open-letter-to-jacinda-ardern-prime-minister-of-nz/ Boycott Sleepyhead! RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Oh_hunnihunni - 03-03-2022 Ha! A dinosaur walks among us! I am glad I took advantage of 60% off when I bought my mattress, and I will smile a little smile everytime I fart gently into it. Stupid man. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - harm_less - 03-03-2022 So the development near ┼îhinewai in North Waikato that has been given the go ahead today which has been given the Sleepyhead Town label sounds like a fun place to live!! ETA: Is the timing of the release of this open letter today after the development got the seal of approval coincidental? RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Magoo - 03-03-2022 venomous little tick isnt he. he could get with the my pillow guy and make baby dropkicks. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Oh_hunnihunni - 03-03-2022 The people who think Jacinda walked into the job have failed to do their research. Failing to do that while critiquing a PM who the world has taken a shine to, just make themselves look silly. Just as well he has a good job eh. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Magoo - 03-03-2022 im surprised by how well she's handled herself. she has walked a tightrope that would have brought others down. she punches well above her weight class imo yeah, surprised me. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - king1 - 03-03-2022 another one that didn't bother to look up the meaning of comrade in Hungary... "We now know that nine months before being elected to Parliament in 2008, you had become President of the International Union of Socialist Youth. " Yes, the world & its dog knows that. And your point is...??? "Being trusting people, we didnÔÇÖt think that meant you were a communist." Oh well, THAT explains all those inane commie comments all over the internet, then. Btw - is that the royal 'we?' "We saw this again following the Christchurch terror attack ÔÇô even though the perpetrator was a deranged foreigner, you cracked down on the rights of law-abiding Kiwi firearm owners without warning, consultation, or proper justification." Yes, she did didn't she - bloody good job, too. Perhaps you'd be happier living in America - they have very different gun laws. "Driven by a seemingly insatiable desire for international recognition, you appeared oblivious to the livelihoods and lifelong interests you were destroying." Are you familiar with the term hyperbole at all...???! "But while you were successfully embedding the UNÔÇÖs socialist agenda into every regulation and law change" Good god - the UN, socialist?! That particularly silly claim is usually made by those on the extreme right, who often appear not to have many clues on anything much. "When it comes to your management of Covid, we are now witnessing the loss of liberty on a scale unimaginable from a New Zealand Prime Minister." Just dreadful, isn't it - just imagine, actually trying to protect the population from covid. Is there no limit to this woman's dreadful deeds! ┬á Most of that is his opinion, clearly far right & none too keen on women leaders. Lucky I'm not in the market for a new bed... RE: Sleepyhead boycott - king1 - 03-03-2022 me neither but DickHead will not be an option when we are... RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Praktica - 03-03-2022 This party political broadcast was brought to you by the National Party... RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Oh_hunnihunni - 03-03-2022 Can't you just hear him as he writes it? Foam flecked, red nosed, apoplectic... Stupid man. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Magoo - 03-03-2022 hes just a bitter old man peter williams, don brash... all cut from the same cloth. Foam flecked, red nosed, apoplectic...I don't imagine he actually wrote it, rather that he paid some ghastly PR hack to write it for him. ┬á As well as the obnoxious views it has a stale, recycled air about it. Ah ha! The reason this piece is stale and dated is that it was written over a year ago by the dreadful Muriel Newman. Peculiar. We still have no idea of the Sleepyhead man's views. Maybe he agrees. https://www.nzcpr.com/we-dont-love-you-anymore-jacinda/ RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Oh_hunnihunni - 03-03-2022 Oh HER! The woman who thought it appropriate to write a self help book for the poor... RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Olive - 03-03-2022 Yes ! She's still around spouting the same rubbish. I have a couple of relatives who admire her (ironically, they are in poor financial circumstances as a result of poor choices) and they often quote her advice. Otherwise I wouldn't have thought of her in many years. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - king1 - 03-03-2022 so it remains to be seen whether Craig Turner had anything to do with this, might be a fake news kinda thing. I note the disclaimer at the end about imagery from Facebook... (not supplied by sleepyhead) I wouldn't be surprised if Sleepyhead have a press release refuting that in the next day or so... RE: Sleepyhead boycott - Oh_hunnihunni - 03-03-2022 I hope so, I quite like my mattress despite the awful process I went through buying the thing. RE: Sleepyhead boycott - king1 - 04-03-2022 original post has been updated... "UPDATE: This article was incorrectly attributed to Mr Craig Turner." so sleep peacefully┬áhunni... Foam flecked, red nosed, apoplectic...Hmmm - & it was the tedious Muriel Newman all the time.┬á Not content to be a founding member of ACT & give it a rest, she clearly continues somehow to cling to her harsh neo Liberal views, despite overwhelming evidence of the damage done across those western countries which foolishly embraced it. Even Jim Bolger has understood the harm it caused & found the courage to speak against it, but not apparently Muriel Newman. |
