This video is a well presented explanation based on US grid but ours is not that disimilar. We can justify spending on a replacement battery for our 10 year old Leaf as it will allow the car to be used in a similar way as for a Tesla Powerwall home battery. Presently Nissan are the only EV on the NZ market with Chademo connectivity so the Leaf is worth holding onto in view of that. Unfortunately our Polestar2 can't be used V2G as its larger battery would be great in that respect. |
