So far as Jacinda fronting up for the COVID inquiry to do so via live video link makes a lot of sense. She gets to answer the hard questions which will undoubtedly be raised but remotely doing so makes ensuring her personal safety more easily manageable, and avoids a lot of expense to NZ in regards to required security measures.

I believe I heard on the news this is exactly what is happening, apparently just sorting out the details with her team now. It might be just a tad triggering for the few remaining haters.

Overall this forum is well to the left and anyone with a contrary opinion just gets ignored or shouted down. I did some surveys about the time of the last election and was surprised to come out slightly left of centre. The regulars here (with a couple of obvious exceptions) are way further left than me.

Maybe we should all do this survey so we can nail down exactly where on the spectrum we each lie?  Maybe that would help everyone come to terms with their own radical lefty or righty 'ness...

there was a touch of sarcasm in that statement, not sure it will tell anyone what they don't already know, about everyone...

I am a bit more centrist than you now, in fourth grid by fourth, but still green.
-6.5 and - 5.95

Interesting though, I remember doing this one a while back, and I think I was further left...

Be fun to see where heisenberg is...

I would never call you dishonest heisenberg. In fact, I suspect you are more honest than many.

Present company excepted.  Tongue

Adern claimed, "I no longer have enough in the tank to do it justice".

...but she did have enough to get to the USA. It is doubtful she has enough to get back

RE: Should Ardern attend the covid enquiry ? - Oh_hunnihunni - 11-07-2025

Ardern.

At least spell it correctly.

And yes, she will be back. She has said so repeatedly, and she doesn't tell lies.

Well yeah, there was that.  Something about her being PM seemed to, for the more ignorant, tap into a deep vein of misogyny.
