  Mark Zuckerberg's Life
Posted by: zqwerty - 12-12-2024, 06:57 PM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - Replies (8)

On its maiden flight, Mark Zuckerberg flew his brand-new, $80 million private jet from California to his mammoth 1,300-acre estate in Hawaii, burning 5,500 kilograms of fuel and releasing 19 tons of COÔéé into the atmosphere

This guy is living a wonderful life. Forget about Global Warming just have a great time. He's looking happier than I've ever seen him.

  Volkswagen in trouble

And Japan's car industry is not in the greatest shape either.
I see that there have been numerous strikes and factory closures at Volkswagen, which is a shame because their EVs appeared to be a good competitor to Tesla, however I have heard they were not without their faults.

  That US healthcare 'manifesto'...
Posted by: Oh_hunnihunni - 12-12-2024, 09:57 AM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - Replies (5)

The man charged with the killing of the health industry boss is being called a Marxist because he published a manifesto.

It is here, if you would like to read it and decide for yourself, if this is 'Marxist'. If the link doesn't work maybe one of you tech wizards can fix for me.

Seems to me it shines light on just one aspect of the superpowers way of doing things that differentiates it from many other nations. It really is all about wealth - misused, abused, and stolen wealth.

Once again  to paraphrase some genius lyrics 'I'm glad I'm not a Kennedy'...

  Printer - scan - email
Posted by: beetle - 11-12-2024, 05:44 PM - Forum: PC World Chat - Replies (6)

Hi all,
I have recently got a printer (multifunction ) and it scans copies etc.

I need to scan and email the scanned item to me
but It says not registered.

Its a brother multifunction and the instructions dont actually explain what to do.  Anyone have a printer that can email  a scanned item ?
Its working on the wifi,  I run it off my tablet.

I dont know what it means about not registered, the only address saved on the printer is my email.
Im presuming im scanning the doc correctly  and not blank papers Rolleyes

Help

Chippy once again opening his mouth and spilling garbage

Chippies rant on radio this morning about the ferries was hilarious
ItÔÇÖs obvious now National are doing the right thing completing adequate planning before making the same mistake Tasmania made . Labours ferries would have been parked up with TasmaniaÔÇÖs in very expensive storage .

  24h2 annoyance.
Posted by: Bryan - 11-12-2024, 10:02 AM - Forum: PressF1 - Replies (2)

I must say how very disappointed I am with Asus and Microsoft in not fixing the install problem that they have with some Asus MBs not being compliant with 24H2. I have installed 24h2 26100.2033 but anything from thereon is running into install problems at 38%, the system then posts a note that "something went wrong" and then reverts back. Wait for them to fix.

This release is so full of bugs, Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves. This release harks back to Windows 8 and the problems that release had. Surely you would think that they had learned their lesson from that debacle.

My opinion is that the Windows programs have become too big and there are too many fingers in the pie that do not relate in great detail with each other. I only hope they do something about it and soon.

If you got to the end of this rant, good for you. I can only hope that there might be others who have similar views.
