  24h2 annoyance.
Posted by: Bryan - 11-12-2024, 10:02 AM - Forum: PressF1 - Replies (2)

I must say how very disappointed I am with Asus and Microsoft in not fixing the install problem that they have with some Asus MBs not being compliant with 24H2. I have installed 24h2 26100.2033 but anything from thereon is running into install problems at 38%, the system then posts a note that "something went wrong" and then reverts back. Wait for them to fix.

This release is so full of bugs, Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves. This release harks back to Windows 8 and the problems that release had. Surely you would think that they had learned their lesson from that debacle.

My opinion is that the Windows programs have become too big and there are too many fingers in the pie that do not relate in great detail with each other. I only hope they do something about it and soon.

If you got to the end of this rant, good for you. I can only hope that there might be others who have similar views.

Grabone microsoft office deal, too good to be true?
Posted by: nzoomed - 10-12-2024, 01:37 PM - Forum: PC World Chat - Replies (8)

I have had a number of people ask me today about the offer on grabone for MS office professional, it seems ridiculously cheap to me, and appears they have done this before on there with mixed experiences going by what im reading and some have had issues activating.
I suspect they are on selling volume licence keys or something to that effect?

  Orcon email outage?
Posted by: nzoomed - 09-12-2024, 02:21 PM - Forum: PressF1 - Replies (6)

I still have an orcon email address ive used for decades now (showing my age) mostly for trademe and get a ton of trademe related emails to it, just noticed between the 5th and this morning there has been no emails that have arrived.
Checked webmail and nothing new in there either, and nothing in spam, was wondering if anyone else here has an orcon address and experienced issues?

Question What are the treaty principles?
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 08-12-2024, 11:01 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (11)

No one can find that answer, bit like religions many unanswered questions.
Good thing we have Dave Seymour to take this on and define them.
The Maori should be on board with this, but TPM would rather organize a car-koi and recruit more people against pakeha.

Who wouldn't want equal rights for all? What is wrong with David Seymours treaty principles bill exactly?

Seems TPM want more division and are wanting their own race based parliament, it's pretty evident who wants to go against the treaty isn't it?

  The mistake with the bootcamp....
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 08-12-2024, 09:19 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (15)

Is that those kids should have been thrown in prison to begin with.
They are dangerous as was evident being armed with a machete.
Then we have to put up with Chloe saying it the boot camps fault that this happened, no Chloe, the boot camp didn't turn them violent, get a grip.
